About Us

Founded by Thomas English, Anuttara is dedicated to teaching the traditional yoga-s of India and Tibet,  based on the experience and understanding in it’s vastness. Our courses, starting with 3 month non-intensive and introductory weekend workshops, to ongoing long-term courses, we provide the knowledge to help to lead practitioners into greater balance and harmony within their being.

Saccha Mission Canada. Primarily, we are a Sachcha Mission endeavor, deriving our inspiration and fundamental initiative from the teachings of Sri Prem Baba: his shamanistic lineage of Brazil; and the Saccha Baba lineage of India. This ashram and retreat is part of his work.

Agama Yoga of Northern BC, Canada. We base our yoga practice and esoteric knowledge on the tantric teachings of Agama Yoga, an international school of yoga, which is where our style of yoga is derived from.  To view their website click here.  Also, we belong to the RYS– the International Yoga Federation.

Traditional Tantra. Some of the practice of mantra-s, purification techniques, and fire ceremonies we teach and perform come from the traditional tantric teachings of India from Guruji Raj Kumar.  To view his website click here.

In 2009 we officially opened our Ashram to volunteers and like minded individuals to help us in our endeavor for creating an ashram/retreat centre and self-sustainable off-the-grid community in the Nass Valley, BC, Canada. We have created this centre to give retreat for modern people to unwind and relax from the hectic lifestyles of modern day lives. This is a centre and community of sustainability, healing and spirituality.

Our ashram and community run entirely on donations, in the hand of generosity.  In whichever way people can help us financially we are more than grateful.

If you wish to donate financially to our mission please contact us.
